Missions

Jeanne and Kerry will be traveling to Feltre, Italy to spend time with Landon and Heather Rogers, missionaries at the local Calvary Chapel. Every year, these two ladies travel to Italy and provide much needed childcare for this family. They’ve developed a sweet relationship with the children and family, it’s something they all look forward to.

We are excited to announce our very first family trip to Washington, DC! Several years ago, we began our annual trip to Boston, to experience first hand the “Fight for Freedom”. Boston is where the story starts, but Washington, DC is where it continues. Join us for our next experience, “The Cost of Freedom” where we will lead a fully immersive DC experience. We will come face to face with what freedom actually costs and what is required of us in order to keep a nation where all men can live freely as God intended. This trip is designed for families, but all are welcome. It will have a strong focus on civic education, fellowship and prayer.

Every year, Calvary Chapel Ferrara hosts a Vacation Bible Camp for the youth of their city and it has been our focus to partner with them in this outreach. Ferrara, Italy is a very traditional Catholic city that has been closed off to the gospel. Pastor Lorenzo’s strategy is to reach the next generation and the Vacation Bible Camp has been an amazing ministry to do just that. Each year, the camp has brought several new families to the church and also won over city officials with how beneficial it was to the community. We are anticipating God doing an even greater work in 2025!

Join us on our very first family mission trip! This has been a request from many families and we are excited to be able to offer this trip to the Church. We are partnering with Pastor Robert Aguayo and Calvary Chapel Merida Centro. Pastor Robert has been a missionary in the Yucatan Peninsula for over 18 years, has planted several churches and started two schools. Our families will be coming alongside Pastor Robert to serve the church, the schools and the community with outreaches that are designed with the family in mind. In addition to being on mission together, this trip is also set up for your family to build memorable experiences with each other and explore some of the wonderful things in and around Merida. We have worked hard to keep the cost per person as low as possible to ensure that we can take as many families as feel called to participate.

We will be partnering with Lasting Impressions, a ministry that is impacting the entire nation of Zimbabwe by teaching the next generation what Christ centered leadership looks like. They are a ministry that preaches the gospel and equips the next generation to lead like Christ through life changing camps. We have partnered with Lasting Impressions for over a decade and our church continues to help build up their property so that they can continue to reach their nation for Christ. Over the years under the leadership of Alistair Croudace, Taylor Bowers and Bryan Johnson our church has had the privilege of building out a large portion of their facility. We will have the opportunity this trip to continue work on several of the projects that are a part of their site plan.

We will be partnering with Calvary Chapel La Esperanza in several strategic outreach opportunities which focus on evangelism, community and church support. We will serve at an orphanage, deliver food and essential supplies to the impoverished, share the gospel through testimonials, and serve almost 1,000 kids at the Calvary School in Xela. There is a possibility we will also be bringing the gospel to the local prison and serving at a school in the remote jungle region outside of Xela.

For the first time in Calvary Chapel Chattanooga history, we will be leading a mission team to Japan. Through some providential circumstances, God has developed a partnership between us and Pastor Tsugeru Irie, a pastor of a small fellowship of believers in Toyota City, Japan and is in need of support and encouragement. Pastor Tsugeru is a young leader with a family and is working alone in a city with great need. While there, we will be hosting an English camp for primary age students and leveraging that as a bridge for the gospel. We will be spending time in Tokyo and Toyota City and in addition to this camp, a large part of this trip will be learning the spiritual history and challenges of Japan, which make Japan one of the hardest countries on earth to work in mission as only 1% of the Japanese population is a professing Christian.

Join us for our annual trip to Boston, as we uncover the true history of the miraculous founding of our nation. This tour is designed to inspire you and your families to the ideas that led to the freedoms we all enjoy today. Freedom was God’s idea and you will have the opportunity to witness first-hand why the United States has stood as a beacon of hope to other countries. Today, our freedoms are being challenged and as a Church we are burdened to equip the next generation to be able to stand for truth when others won’t. This tour will bring you back in time 400 years and our prayer is that when you return home, you are able to see clearly the mission that God has for you to stand for His word and His Gospel in perhaps ways you never have before. This trip will be both educational and inspirational as we take time to pray over the nation that God has set apart.
